What can I see from my language, after all?

Research & Traveling Exhibition

Que Mar Se Vê Afinal da Minha Língua? [What can I see from my language, after all?]  is a research and traveling exhibition, under the artistic direction of Margarida Saraiva (Macau-Lisbon), being developed in collaboration with curators Angela Berlinde (Oporto-São Paulo), Gisela Casimiro (Lisbon-Luanda).

The curatorial project Que Mar Se Vê Afinal da Minha Língua? proposes a reflection on the artistic practices of the Portuguese-speaking worlds beyond Portugal and the myth of Lusophony.

Que Mar Se Vê Afinal da Minha Língua? is the first formal activity of the REDE de Residências Artísticas dos Mundos de Expressão Portuguesa [The International Network of Artistic Residencies in the Portuguese Speaking Worlds] and is part of a larger project involving curatorial and artistic residencies, participatory exhibitions in Macau, Dili, Maputo, Rio de Janeiro and Alcobaça, including a publication and video documentation of the process, which will take place from September 2023 until the end of 2024.
